GRAF Klaro E Professional Sewage Treatment System – 60 population – gravity outlet

The GRAF Klaro E Professional works according to the principle of SBR lifting technology. No live parts need to be installed in the tank. All movement processes are performed by three air lift pumps, which are operated using a compressor. The compressor also provides the plate ventilator on the bottom of the SBR reservoir with air. The compressor and all other technical components are low maintenance offer power failure recognition and stored in a switch cabinet, which can be installed in the plant room of the house.

How it works

• Untreated waste enters the tank via the inlet on the side of the tank.
• The wastewater falls into a primary chamber for settlement.
• Compressed air is sent to the treatment plant via the control panel.
• Wastewater is lifted from the primary chamber via a siphon into the biological zone, where the treatment can start taking place. Within this chamber there are micro-organisms which start breaking down the waste. Air is fed into this chamber to help with this process.
• The aeration process is intermittent to achieve the best treatment performance.
• Aeration is then stopped to allow for the activated waste to sink to the bottom of the tank.
• Compressed air is then sent to the plant again to extract the cleaned water near the surface, via the air-lift. This water passes through a sampling point before leaving the plant, where samples can be taken to confirm the quality of effluent.
• Finally, activated waste is then lifted from the biozone back to the primary chamber to complete a system cycle.
• The above process is then repeated.
