Spillstop Barrier 0.5m Unit
Barrier protection systems designed to prevent damage to premises and products from large scale spills, flooding and firewater run-off.
The 0.5m Spillstop is a rapidly deployable, multi-functional spill barrier and bunded containment system. Widely used to protect high risk utilities and businesses against spills and even flood water. Inexpensive, highly effective with no construction civil works required.
Spillstop units fill with the liquid it is containing or can be filled with ballast material for added security. This combined weight of the liquid being blocked or contained and the weighted connection keys, secures the barriers in position.
If situated on a porous surface then the contained liquids would eventually penetrate standard ground. If Spillstop is to be used as a temporary bund then we would suggested a suitable groundsheet is used to help create a watertight containment.
